Ogle uses YouTube API Services to let affiliate and agent account holders connect their own YouTube channels and send finished property videos to the channels they select.
When you connect, Google provides authorization tokens and access to your YouTube channel identity. Ogle stores the tokens encrypted on its server, together with the channel ID, channel name and your sharing preferences. Ogle does not receive your Google password. Authorization tokens are not returned to the workspace browser or saved in browser storage.
When you choose Send to YouTube, Ogle sends the selected video, title, description, visibility, audience and altered-content settings to YouTube. Ogle saves upload progress, the YouTube video ID and the result so interrupted uploads can resume and repeated requests do not create duplicate uploads. Ogle reads the video’s processing and visibility status to confirm completion.
Affiliate and agent connections are separate. The channel owner can explicitly allow the other account role to send eligible property videos to that channel. Sharing is off by default. You can edit each upload’s copy and visibility before sending it.
Disconnect under Settings → Connections to remove Ogle’s saved channel authorization. Ogle also requests revocation from Google; you can independently revoke access at Google Account permissions. Disconnecting stops further use of that connection. It does not delete videos already received by YouTube. Upload records, including submitted copy and progress, remain with the property’s upload history. Manage or delete the uploaded videos in YouTube Studio.
AI drafting is optional and uses the affiliate’s enabled OpenAI connection. When requested, Ogle sends saved property facts to OpenAI to draft a title and description for you to review. It does not send your Google tokens or YouTube account data to OpenAI. Editing the supplied title and description does not require AI.
Ogle uses Google user data only to provide the requested connection, upload and status features. It does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising or model training. Ogle’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
These connection details supplement the terms and privacy practices governing your Ogle account. Use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
